"2 Attractively Priced REITs For Passive Income Investors"
As you know by my name, I love dividends. And in addition to sharing on here, I write regularly in the investment platform- Seeking Alpha.
My goal there is to teach everyday investors about building wealth, so they won’t to need to work to traditional retirement age.
I want to help you take control of your life, have F.I.R.E.
And the platform allows writers to share one article once a week free of charge. So, I like to share them with all my current & future subscribers. (see below).
If you’re reading this then you likely know that the stock market has been volatile recently.
As a result, a lot of AI stocks have seen their share prices fall. Me, personally, I believe this is a healthy pullback that was well overdue.
When stocks continue to rise, it’s only a matter a time before we see a market crash or correction. While many investors have been chasing the next NVIDIA (NVDA) of the world, some stocks have remained attractively priced.
Particularly, REITs (XLRE). And if you’re an income-focused investor, now may be a good time to buy as many trade at valuations below their historical averages.
If you’re a long-term investor, then it’s very important to buy and hold quality stocks that are likely to continue rewarding you with dividend increases for the foreseeable future.
What’s even more important is when you can buy high-quality stocks at the right price, this can lead to outperformance going forward.
To paraphrase Warren Buffett:
“A quality stock can become a bad investment if bought at the wrong price.”
In short, buying even the highest quality stocks can underperform if you overpay. And with REITs undervalued right now, and likely to see tailwinds from lower interest rates, I expect many to see solid price appreciation in the next couple of years.
So, if you’re an investor looking to create a passive income stream, this week’s article discusses two quality REITs that could be solid additions to your portfolio.
