"How I Transitioned From A 21-Year Navy Career To The Top 1% Of Financial Analysts"
As you know by my name, I love dividends. And in addition to sharing on here, I write regularly in the investment platform- Seeking Alpha.
My goal there is to teach everyday investors about building wealth, so they won’t to need to work to traditional retirement age.
I want to help you take control of your life, have F.I.R.E.
And the platform allows writers to share one article once a week free of charge. So, I like to share them with all my current & future subscribers. (see below).
I was recently asked to share my journey on how I made the transition from the Navy to financial analyst. We all have things that shape our stories.
The military was the best decision I ever made at 18 years old.
And the lessons learned propelled me to where I am today. It wasn’t always easy and I didn’t initially plan to retire.
But once I got closer to retirement, I took an interest to investing to not end up like a lot of my fellow veterans. The interest in investing helped me transition to Seeking Alpha, where I’ve been for close to 3 years now.
Long story short, I’m happy I stuck it out and encourage anyone thinking of joining to do so. If used correctly, the military can be a life hack.
Check out my journey in this week’s article of the week.
