"2 Recession Resistant Dividend Stocks To Consider For Your Portfolio"
As you know by my name, I love dividends. And in addition to sharing on here, I write regularly in the investment platform- Seeking Alpha.
My goal there is to teach everyday investors about building wealth, so they won’t to need to work to traditional retirement age.
I want to help you take control of your life, have F.I.R.E.
And the platform allows writers to share one article once a week free of charge. So, I like to share them with all my current & future subscribers. (see below).
Unless you’ve been living under a rock, then it’s likely you aware of the ongoing war between Israel, the U.S., & Iran. While many assumed the war would be short-lived, I believe the markets are now pricing in fear.
In my opinion, this fear is due to the war potentially causing a recession. Wars are often highly inflationary. High oil prices = high gas prices. And with the labor market weakening and high inflation, this is a recipe for disaster, or a recession.
Recession are sometimes healthy and normal. But if you’re an investor, it’s important to know how to position yourself to protect your capital. While most of the market will decline should we see a recession, some will hold up better than others.
In this week’s article of the week, I discuss two picks to consider for your portfolio.
Let me know what you think of the article in the comments!
