As you know by my name, I love dividends. And in addition to sharing on here, I write regularly in the investment platform- Seeking Alpha.
My goal there is to teach everyday investors about building wealth, so they won’t to need to work to traditional retirement age.
I want to help you take control of your life, have F.I.R.E.
Here at Dividend Collection Agency the goal is to give investors and/or readers a different perspective. We take a simple approach to building wealth. And although investing may seem easy, people often miss opportunities by over complicating it. But we are here to help.
When it comes to investing it’s very important to know what’s going on in the overall market.
Certain reports & data could have a positive or negative impact on your holdings or portfolio. But it’s important to focus on the fundamentals of that particular company.
Pay close attention to market data, but company fundamentals will drive their performance long term.
Above is a recap DCA created from key news reports last week.
Yesterday, core CPI for September came in below expectations at 3.0%.
This is why the market reacted positively.
However, inflation is still above the target of 2.0% and rose from 2.9% in August.
And this could increase further in the coming months due to tariffs and FED money printing.
If so, items will get even more expensive.
The FED is expected to cut interest rates again on October 29th and again in December.
This means those yields on those high yield savings accounts, CDs, and money market accounts will drop.
This is why it’s important to invest, preferably in investments with returns above the current rate of inflation.
Dividend-paying stocks are a great starting point. If you’re looking to build passive income here’s where i would start looking.
✅REITs
✅BDCs
✅Covered call ETFs
