If you’ve followed my work for any length of time, you know my primary focus is income investing.

Recently, I began building a dedicated all-income portfolio centered around higher-yielding ETFs. Over time, I may also add REITs and Business Development Companies to further enhance diversification and income generation.

One of my latest additions was the Schwab U.S. Dividend Equity ETF (SCHD).

At first glance, that decision may seem odd. After all, many covered call ETFs offer yields well into the double digits, while SCHD currently yields around 3.25%.

So why add it?
