Solid framework here! The three-tier setup makes alot of sense, especially framing ETFs as the anchor rather than just a boring fallback. Back when I was starting out, I also dismissed broad ETFs thinking individual picks would always beat them, but reality proved otherwise fast. The idea that every holding needs a "job" is probly the most underrated point because it forces actual intentionality instead of just collecting tickers.
